Social Media Strategist’s Assistant
BNL Media Consulting is a forward-thinking organic social media management agency fuelled by a passion for social media marketing. Since 2015, we’ve evolved from a personal Instagram obsession into a thriving agency known for its expertise in social media management. At BNL, we work closely with business owners and marketing teams, delivering tailored social media strategies that align with each brand’s unique goals.
Our agency thrives on collaboration, seamlessly integrating into our clients’ workflows to manage organic social media efforts—from strategy development to content execution. With a dedicated team of strategists, community builders, graphic designers, and copywriters, we help businesses stay ahead while they focus on growth.
Now, we’re looking for a part time Social Media Strategist Assistant to support our strategists in executing high-level strategies with precision and creativity. If you’re passionate about content curation, social media calendars, and optimizing digital marketing efforts, this role is for you! This would initially be a contract position but has the potential to evolve into a salaried position as you grow with the company.
What You’ll Do:
Strategist Support & Content Curation
• Assist our Social Media Strategists in curating, organizing, and scheduling content for client accounts.
• Attend client meetings and take notes to support your strategist so they can continue to focus on maintaining relationship and brainstorming with client.
• Research and source relevant industry-specific content that aligns with each brand’s voice and marketing goals.
• Collaborate and take action on content ideas and contribute creative input for client campaigns.
Calendar Management & Scheduling
• Build and maintain social media content calendars, ensuring posts are scheduled accurately using tools like Later.com.
• Optimize posting schedules based on engagement trends and platform best practices.
• Track important dates, promotions, and campaigns to ensure timely execution.
Editing & Quality Control
• Review content for accuracy, brand consistency, and engagement potential before scheduling.
• Edit captions, refine copy, and ensure posts align with each client’s brand tone and messaging.
• Assist in refining social media graphics to ensure polished, on-brand visuals.
What We’re Looking For:
• A passion for social media, content strategy, and digital marketing as a whole.
• Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail—content accuracy and brand consistency matter!
• Experience with content scheduling platforms (Later.com is a plus).
• Basic graphic design skills (Canva proficiency preferred).
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends if needed.
• A proactive, self-motivated mindset with the ability to adapt and support a fast-paced team.
• Excellent communication and listening skills and the ability to collaborate with strategists and clients.
