The Healing Powers of Sikh Music
Raj Academy was an incredibly unique client for BNL Media Consulting. Raj Academy is a musical academy that teaches courses on how to use the power of sound to help increase one’s emotional intelligence through their online courses that use traditional Sikh instruments to help individuals connect with themselves. They also offer a very powerful Naad Yoga Teacher Training that helps other leaders use this tool to help their own communities.
They began working with BNL at the beginning of 2021 for a 12 month commitment in order to help transition their business online due to the COVID-19 pandemic. With the help of BNL, we were able to evolve Raj Academy's online space into a thriving one while no one could attend their ever-popular in-person classes and events.
What We Did
BNL managed Raj Academy’s social media channels and worked alongside their marketing manager to bring all to fruition. We created feed posts, Instagram Stories and Reels. We focused our time on Facebook marketing for their events and educational classes.
We also managed their accounts by responding to comments, replying to Direct Messages and engaging with their followers.
The goal of this account was to be able to bring the healing powers of #SikhMusic - also known as Kirtan, into the world at a global scale.
With our help, Raj Academy made a transition into the online space and has created an ever-growing online community that we love seeing continue to grow to this day.
The transition to digital.
Business couldn’t continue as normal when COVID-19 hit for Raj Academy. Known for their in-person events and classes throughout the UK and Spain, the academy had to make the move into the online space. Luckily for them, this switch has helped bring the magic of Sikh music and Naad yoga to even more people.
Raj Academy, the teachers, and the courses are now available throughout the entire world. They have students in the United Kingdom, Canada, US, India, Spain, Australia, and beyond.

Finding Raj Academy’s voice.
BNL helped Raj Academy bring their gifts to life by using the posts as an educational platform sharing what happens when one practices Kirtan, the Instagram Reels allow people to hear why the instruments that are traditional are way more powerful, as well as their IG stories to keep people in the know about all the events.

We ensured that all copywriting for both Facebook and Instagram always stayed in alignment with Raj Academy’s core brand voice. This helped when people are scrolling and notice the Raj Academy voice, they’d always stop, read the caption, watch the video and get inspired to explore how they can use the healing powers of sound for their own wellbeing journey.
