If we’re just meeting, my name is Megan Shallow, and I’m passionate about helping fellow Social Media Managers discover the freedom and flexibility that this industry can offer—when scaled the right way. How do I know the right way? Because I’ve tried and failed multiple times by doing it the wrong way first.
I’ve got plenty of stories to share as we embark on this mentorship journey together. Since 2018, BNL has generated over $1 million in revenue, a number that still blows my mind. But it wasn’t always smooth sailing—I’ve worked with over 30 staff members and countless contractors before finding the perfect team. It took time, a lot of self-discovery, and learning to set healthy boundaries, but I made it to the other side.
One of the most crucial lessons I’ve learned is that getting your pricing right and maintaining profitability as you scale is key (trust me, I’ve made that mistake three times over). Bi-Weekly 75 Minute Calls with email access on a weekly basis. I will be coming alongside you every step of the way.

I will be providing you with my email address in which we can communicate back and forth with questions throughout our time together so that you are never feeling lost as your new workload starts to grow (IT WILL!) and systems start to need tweaking because of your expansion..

Private Zoom Room for Sessions that will be recorded and non-recorded office hours.

A $1000 deposit is required to secure your spot, which comes with one 1:1 60 minute virtual meeting where you we get clear on your goals and ensure you have all the tools and systems in place to support you during our 6 months together!

The first step is to book a discovery call with Megan so that she can answer any questions you may have about how the mentorship runs. From there we request a deposit to hold your spot.

Yes, to secure your spot we ask that you put down $1000 to secure your seat. This deposit kick starts a 1:1 60 minute virtual onboarding call with Megan to set your goals for the 16 Week Commitment that you are making to your social media agency.

I have spots for 2 Mentees at any given time. You can decide when you would like to start and all I would need is a deposit to hold your place.

Here at BNL, we will take credit card or e-transfer. Whatever is easier for you. If you prefer an alternative payment method, please let us know during your discovery call.

We can look at making it up within the 6 month container. I allow for 2 weeks buffer if needed but ideally we keep all our calls within our 6 months of working together.

If it wasn’t for a stranger from a gym I worked who sat me down over a cup of tea and told me that I should consider to get into digital marketing because I clearly had a gift to share… I wouldn’t be here today.
He encouraged me to start my journey, which eventually would be a social media manager, by writing a blog. So I called it www.breathenourishlove.com and that was where it all began. I started to write… and I couldn’t stop. The website was a safe place to practice but my inner voice told me that I had to start writing out in the world too…
And that’s what led me being an active participant in social media and I learned that I had the power of connecting people through organic content. First, I started out with small business owners. My very first client paid me $100/month to run her entire social media. I was so excited… because I had no idea what I was doing.
My second client was my hair stylist and I traded her for free hair and highlights. Blondes are expensive so that felt like a steal of a deal!
And then word got out that I was good at this. I volunteered for a local non profit fundraising event and then started getting realtors, gyms, cafes, restaurants, hotels and it wasn’t long until I was attracting people that wanted to pay me actual money (E.g. $2500+ per month to do their organic social media!)
It was staying in my gifts that helped me attract all the amazing clients that I’ve been able to work with throughout my career so far. I was able to tap into my gift of writing and connecting and share my world with those around me and it scaled BNL Media Consulting in ways I would’ve never imagined.
My Honours Degree in Psychology allowed me to approach this social media world from a very unique perspective where I took an intuitive and relationship forward approach with all that I did… and I am forever grateful for it. And I’d love to show you how I did that.
I have gone from a freelance social media manager to a full-fledged owner of a self-managing Agency with full-time employees within 6 years and by showing up on social media every time I felt the call - I have also been given me the opportunity to step into business mentorship for soul led entrepreneurial women as well as become a partner and Emcee with a Canadian Marketing Conference. Along with many other speaking events, podcast opportunities, and travel experiences that I never would’ve had if I didn’t bring my energy online.
